Bartek Stepniewski – Building My Business with Themify

We're continuing our Customer Stories series with another great story! We're very excited to share to everyone the story of Bartek Stepniewski - a web designer and blogger who, through Themify together with his family, was able launch his business TREJKA.pl. Check out here entire story below:

Hi! My name is Bartek Stepniewski and my business is called TREJKA.pl. You can call me a family freelancer, as my wife and two kids play a big role with my business. My wife, especially, became a major contributor in the daily operations of the business, as well as, in lending her skills in desing. TREJKA.pl specializes in blogging, construction and management of blogs, parties, and online shops, where we use WordPress and CS-Cart.

Moving to DIY Projects

A few years ago I wanted to make a product page. I looked into hiring someone to do this for me. After doing some research, I found that the price to hire someone to build a web page was very expensive! So I continued my research but instead of finding someone else to do it for me, I started looking into doing it myself. I spent a lot of money trying out different CMS systems, but the one that I liked the most was WordPress. Now the next challenge was to find the right theme provider.

Growing with Themify - Portfolio

I found Themify purely by chance, perhaps through a banner or promo text message. But before that, I tried many other theme hubs: Mythemeshop, WooThemes, Elegant Themes, Studiopress, and even purchased some themes from Themeforest. But at the end, Themify suited my needs the most. Through Themify, I was able to learn how to use and modify html and CSS. I especially enjoyed using the Builder that was built into each theme. It was like a Swiss army knife, that allowed me do anything that I wanted. It helped me build and design sites for my clients. Apart from it's great products, we were also very pleased with Themify's support forum. Every time we encountered a hiccup with our designs, they always provided detailed answers which fixed any issue we had!

Moving Forward with Themify

I’ve been in this business for two years now. The beginning of this year (2015) has been amazing, I've been extremely busy with multiple projects. Moving forward, I want to change Trejka into a web shop, selling various design services and Themify Child themes. After this, I plan to open Trejka.com - a website clone that's focused on providing services in foreign markets.
